I love sewing and would love to teach your child how to sew too!

I have been sewing for as long as I can remember, creating little projects as a child to sewing quilts, handbags and clothing as I got older. There is something about finding a fantastic piece of fabric and making it into something unique that you can call your own.

I believe children learn so quickly at a young age and learning new skills is important for brain growth and self esteem. Group sewing classes teach such things as hand eye coordination, math, social skills & creativity.  Being able to show their friends and family what they created is such a self esteem booster. I love that I can teach the forgotten skill of sewing to all ages and genders!

Classes will be taught in my home. I have been an in home daycare provider for many years, in 2016 I became licensed with the government of Saskatchewan. I enjoy teaching children of all ages and also parents and adults. I also have a current clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector and current CPR-B & First Aid.

Teaching sewing to me is so rewarding, passing on the torch to the new generation.
