IMPORTANT: If you are coming via the South Circle Bridge, do NOT take the Valley Road exit, wait for the 11th street exit. Some GPS systems don’t show the new bridge and you will get sent towards the Berry Barn. If you are not sure of our location Google Maps us before you leave.
– Parents do not need to stay for the classes, but are more than welcome to come in the first class to take a look around.
– If you arrive to pick up your child early feel free to come down and see what we are doing or wait in the entrance.
– Please children try not to arrive earlier than 5 minutes ahead of time because most classes are back to back and I need those few minutes to organize the next class/ tidy up. But, if you need to arrive a bit earlier please contact me so I will be prepared. Thank you so much!

Tips on Buying Fabric
- Check the bargain centre and also sales.
- I try not to spend more than $10-15 per meter. Even less? Even Better!
- It is ok to say no to your child if the fabric is too expensive. Once they are more experienced feel free to spend more but I honestly stick to my $10-15 most of the time.
- A Fabricland membership is a great idea if you think your child will love to sew.
- The 2 fabrics we use most are Fleece- fuzzy fabric like a fleece blanket or cotton/flannel- fabric like a quilt or baby blanket . Unless asked for please no stretchy fabric it is much harder to sew.
- Use blankets or sheets new or used!
